Our weedy neighbor Burdock and our bright-eyed flower friend Calendula are favorites among herbalists for troubled skin, and both are being adopted in commercial skincare products for their redness-soothing, antioxidant, and vulnerary properties. In North American and British Isles folk traditions, Yarrow is considered to offer magical protection and aid with boundaries.

Jojoba is a plant native to the US Southwest and Mexico, and what we call its "oil" is actually a liquid wax that's very similar in structure to human sebum, so it doesn't feel so heavy on the skin. Sunflower oil is low on the comedogenic scale and high in linoleic acid, which acne-prone skin has been shown to frequently lack, and olive squalane is a super-light emollient that helps with moisture retention without feeling greasy.

Comes in a 10-ml glass roller bottle for easy application. I like to massage the oil into my skin after I roll it on, but you could even hands-free it if you want! I recommend applying this serum at night, as the last step in your skincare routine.
